Nathan Goldstein’s art has been exhibited since 1950. His work is in numerous private and public collections including The Art Institute of Chicago, The Arkansas Art Center, and the National Academy of Design.

An art teacher since 1957 and a professor at The Art Institute of Boston since 1971, Goldstein has earned a national reputation as an outstanding educator.

His seven books on art, including “The Art of Responsive Drawing” and “Figure Drawing: The Structure, Anatomy, and Expressive Design of Human Form” ( both in their 6th editions), are considered among the best in the field and are used at colleges and universities in the United States and abroad.
